The menu is ala carte. I had 3 beef tamales with rice and beans. It was sooo good! My husband had fajitas. He had to ask for it specifically. So much food! It is authentic Mexican food, not TexMex. We will be going backsoon!

Homemade everything! Breaded thin chicken cutlet, rice beans and salad! Homemade tortillas so good! Must visit if in the area. Open for breakfast, I was here 9:30 AM after oil change

We enjoyed eating at Mi Mexico Taqueria! We were immediately greeted by the owner and the waitress. I ordered the quesabirrias and tamales with horchata to drink. Very delicious food - I recommend adding this restaurant to your must eat Decatur list!

We FINALLY found a Mexican restaurant that has REAL Mexican food!! No trash vegetables in their rice, real heat in their sauces and the most delicious, tender and flavorful meats in BIG portions!! The flavor was jam packed with authentic Mexican cuisine flavors. The service was awesome and I wish I had found this place sooner! If you’ve ever tasted authentic Mexican food in other states on the Southern West coast, along the Northern Eastern Coast, Florida and Mexico and you’re sick of ordering that type of food around Northern Alabama because it’s never the same and you’re just trying to talk yourself into liking it and not being disappointed…then you’ve gotta try this place!! The price was more than reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised how much our bill was after all the food we ordered. Literally so happy Do yourself a favor and eat lunch or dinner there soon. It will change your life!!
Authentic Mexican food, couldn't have been any better. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. The restaurant felt more like a dining room at a bed and breakfast. Very welcoming and comfortable.
